About the book:
Innovation and Research in Bulgaria on the Eve of EU Accession: Lessons from Peer Country – Austria examines the potential role that Austria can play in supporting Bulgaria in terms of its integration process, in particular in the EU’s Seventh Research Framework Programme. The first part of the book presents the Bulgarian Innovation System and the current policies for financing research. The second part of the book describes Bulgaria’s participation as an equal partner in the EU’s Sixth Framework Programme.
