During the last twenty years Denmark has been experimenting with many forms for transition to applied economic politics. At the end of the 1980s the country has embarked on a transition from politics of short-term stabilization to long-term structural politics. The aim is to increase the Danish competitiveness on the international markets and, at the same time, preserve the prosperity of the people and the stability of the country.
