| ARC Fund Organized e-Government Foresight Workshop at the Ministry of Transport and Communications |

 On February 13, 2004 at the Ministry of Transport and Communications ARC Fund organized a wider consultancy workshop to present the interim results of its e-Government Foresight initiative in Bulgaria, part of the ForeTech project.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the major e-government stakeholders in Bulgaria, including state administration, business, academic and scientific institutes, non-government organizations and specialized IT media. During the workshop the foresight methodology and its practical application in the filed of e-government in Bulgaria was presented.
The aim of the workshop was to discuss and endorse the final foresight results within a larger stakeholder community. The workshop was targeted towards building capacity and competence on foresight among e-government stakeholders in the country and elaborating policy options to the Bulgarian policy-makers.
