| The Bulgarian SIC online game Zone of Risk nominated for the World Summit Award |

 The 3D online quest game for teenagers Zone Of Risk developed by the Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre and its partners from Kabinata.com has been nominated for the World Summit Award, as the best e-Content example in e-Learning & Science from Bulgaria. The Summit will take place this October in Sri Lanka.
The 3D game was developed in 2011-2012 as a tool to raise teenagers’ awareness about the risks that poses the irresponsible use of internet and mobile communications. It was officially launched at Safer Internet Day 2012 and a national; competition was announced. More than 6000 school students played and around 800 passed all levels in a 0ne-month period. The first three winners were awarded prizes by the Bulgarian Association for Information Technologies and in June 2012 the game took first place in the eLearning category at the Bulgarian Web Awards.
