| IRC-Bulgaria Joins the European Commission's b2europe Initiative |

On 5th December 2005, in Sofia, the Coordinator of IRC-Bulgaria, Mr. Angel Milev and the National Coordinator of the Euro Info Centres Network in Bulgaria, Ms Beata Papazova, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for adhering to the initiative of the European Commission b2europe.
b2europe is an initiative aming to create an alliance between the major European business support networks IRC Network, Euro Info Centres , and the European BIC Network. The fundamental objective of this alliance is to ensure easy access for SMEs to all services offered by these networks and to guarantee a comprehensive range of services to SMEs.
The initiative’s foundations were outlined in a Communication published on 21st February 2001, where the European Commission initiated a process for rationalizing and streamlining the Community business support Networks.
The key objectives of the b2europe initiative are to:
Establish alliances between Community business support Networks and with other similar organizations at the local and regional level;
Strengthen the impact and quality of the services provided by the Community business support Networks;
Strengthen the spread of information on European policy-making producing a better exploitation of expertise and synergies between the Networks;
Offer a straightforward and transparent business support model which will guarantee to the clients a tailored answer irrespective of the Network being addressed.

Careful, one-on-one follow-up;
Link with all the ‘key players’ at all levels (local, regional, national and European) so as to lend support and meet company demands;
