| Technology brokerage event during the "58th International Technical Fair in Plovdiv", Bulgaria. |

IRC-Bulgaria, IRC Help-Forward in Greece, IRC Lower Saxony/Saxony-Anhalt in Germany and IRC Romania co-organised a Technology Brokerage Event in the field of Industrial Processes and Automation (e.g. Mechanical engineering, Environmental technologies, Food processing technologies, Chemical engineering). The event took place during the 58th International Technical Fair in the ancient and beautiful city of Plovdiv on 1-2 October 2002.
The Technology Brokerage Event offered the participating company representatives, RTD organisations and experts, unique opportunities to meet and establish cross-border contacts with a diverse range of European companies and especially with companies from the Newly accosiated countries (NACs).
62 meetings were arranged between 19 Bulgarian, 9 German, 4 Greek and 2 Romanian companies. The objective of this networking was to foster TTT agreements and technological co-operation, to encourage establishing start-up companies as well as to inspire and initiate joint participation in European RTD projects and future collaboration. This was a great opportunity for researchers to investigate the potential of commercial exploitation for products and technologies in the development stage.
The cooperation catalogue included 36 technology profiles (26 TOs, 7 TRs, 1 RTD Result, 2 Know-how / Expertise)
