| Safer Internet awareness campaign started in Bulgaria |

 On 2 October in Sofia was given start to the second national Safer Internet campaign. The 7-month awareness campaign is a joint initiative of Microsoft-Bulgaria, the children's web-portal Az-deteto-com and the Internet provider Evrokom-Cable with the support of the Public Council on Safer Internet, the Ministry of Eudcation and the state agencies for child protection and for information technologies and communications.
 At the campaign opening ceremony Microsoft-Bulgaria awarded prizes to the winners in a children drawing competition "Me and my parents in Internet". The prizes were handed to the winners by the popular BG-Radio anchors Bogdana and Simo who are the faces of the new awareness campaign.
The next children competition - rules for parents for safer Internet - was announced. During this year's campaign round-tables on safer Internet will be organised in three cities around the country.
