High-Level Political Signing Conference for the United Nations Convention against Corruption
On December 9-11, 2003 a high-level conference was summitted in Merida, Mexico for the purpose of signing the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
The text of the convention was negotiated during seven sessions of the Ad Hoc Committee for the Negotiation of the Convention against Corruption, held between 21 January 2002 and 1 October 2003.
Mr. Boyko Todorov, member of the Steering Committee of the Bulgarian anti-corruption initiative Coalition 2000, took part in the conference.
