MG Hans-Christian Beck was born on 19 July1944 in
Zwittau/Sudetenland and joined the Federal Armed Forces on 1 April
1964.
For both his officer training and subsequent service
he was mainly based at regions in Southern Germany. In 1976 he was
assigned to participate at a General Staff training at the Federal
Armed Forces Command and Staff College at Blankenese. And further
assignments at schools and staffs followed suit. In 1993 he became
commander of home defense brigade 39 "Free State of Thuringia", in
1994 commander of Moral Leadership Center at Koblenz and as from 1
September 1999 he became commander of headquarters of air forces
and 4 division at Regensburg.
MG Beck is married and has one daughter. His
hobbies are hiking, history and literature.
