Mr. David M. Crane has served in the
government of the United States for almost 30 years, most of them
as an attorney. Mr. Crane specializes in International and Criminal
Law, as well as National Security Law. He currently is a member of
the Senior Executive Service in the Office of the Inspector
General, Department of Defense. As a senior executive with the
Office of the Inspector General he oversees numerous national
security systems for the Secretary of Defense and the United States
Congress. Past key legal positions include serving as the Assistant
General Counsel, Defense Intelligence Agency; Legal Advisor, US
Forces, Multinational Force and Observers, Sinai, Egypt; and the
Waldemar A. Solf Professor of International Law at the Judge
Advocate General's School, US Army.
Mr. Crane holds a Doctor of Law degree from
Syracuse University, a Masters degree in African Studies and
Bachelors degree in History, summa cum laude, from Ohio
University.
