The Center for the Study of Democracy
hosted an IT seminar on August 6, 2001 on the occasion of the visit
to Bulgaria by a delegation of Korean CEOs from 12 Korean IT
companies.
The seminar was organized by the Sofia
based JC Consulting, whose services are aimed at increasing
business ties between Bulgaria and the Asian region, in cooperation
with Charmsmart, a Seoul-based consulting company. The event was
intended to a give a preliminary introduction to the Korean CEO
delegation on the opportunities that exist in Bulgaria's IT
industries, and to provide opportunities for discussion, exchange
of ideas, and possible future business contacts among the Bulgarian
and Korean participants.
The representatives of the Bulgarian
Association for Information Technologies and BULSOFT (an
association of Bulgarian software-developing companies) gave short
presentations, while the remaining participants made a brief
introduction on their company and activities followed by an
informal question and answer session.
