The Cabinet approved the Draft Law on Electronic Document and Electronic Signature
On September 28, 2000, the Council of Ministers approved the Draft Law on Electronic Document and Electronic Signature, developed by the CSD Law Program Task Force. The governmental approval will open up the legislative procedure within the Bulgarian Parliament for the adoption of the Bill.
The approved version of the draft law reflects the positions of all the stakeholders concerned.
The Draft Law will be soon published in its second and updated version of the collection Electronic Document and Electronic Signature - Legal Aspects, which will also include the newly enacted foreign acts and the European Directive on e-commerce.
