The second phase of Coalition 2000's small grant program Civil Society Against Corruption was launched in the Center for the Study of Democracy, Secretariat to Coalition 2000. On January 9-10, 2004, representatives of the awarded non-governmental organizations were summoned for a two-day training on grant management for USAID-grantees. Thirty-five NGO representatives took part in the seminar.
The first part of the seminar was dedicated to the basic USAID requirements for grant management and reporting. In the second part, the participants were divided into three groups depending on the major focus of their projects, where they could share best practices and discuss the common challenges in front of the implementation of their projects.
