Report "The Problem of Corruption in Small and Medium Enterprises in Croatia"
The report "The Problem of Corruption in Small and Medium Enterprises in Croatia" is the result of a survey conducted among small businesses in Croatia in 2001. The report presents data on the actual corruption-related experiences and costs to SMEs in Croatia. It also provides case studies from actual experiences that Croatian SMEs have had with corruption. The Croatian SME anticorruption research project is part of a larger project carried out by the Integra Venture in Central and Eastern Europe. The overall goal of the project is to identify actual corruption-related problems that SMEs have in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and promote awareness and strategies for reducing corruption within the immediate stakeholder circle of these SMEs.
