1. Forming Task Forces on the main action lines of the Judicial Anti-Corruption Program (JACP)

  • Constitutional Reform
  • Civil Law (incl. Commercial Law) and Civil Procedure Law
  • Penal Procedure Law
  • Administrative Procedure Law
  • Court Administration Reform. Training of Magistrates and the Judicial Administration Employees
  • Awareness and Confidence Building Measures

2. Task Forces' Leaders meeting

3. Working session of the Task Forces' Leaders and Members to discuss the working plan of JACP

January/February

Preparation of the Program's separate parts

March

Workshop discussion on the separate parts of the Program prepared by the Task Forces

April

1. Incorporation of the received comments and proposals on the separate parts of the Program
2. Preparing JACP first draft on the basis of the separate parts prepared by Task Forces
3. JACP first draft Public discussion with the participation of representatives of state institutions, NGOs, professional guilds, media
4. Carrying out additional consultations on JACP first draft with experts and representatives of main stakeholders

May

Incorporation of the comments and proposals received and elaboration of the Program

June/July

1. Preparing JACP final version as a consensus document of main stakeholders
2. Publishing JACP in Bulgarian and in English in 1000 copies each and its dissemination
3. Policy Forum to endorse JACP. Representatives of the Parliament, Judiciary and the Executive, non-profit and international organisations, legal experts, and the media will be invited to take part in the Policy Forum.
