On July 13, 2000, the Center for Study of Democracy hosted a business meeting “Local initiatives against corruption. Stage three”. Twenty-five people attended – NGO representatives winners from the third stage competition of the Small Projects Program which will take place during July – December 2000. Workshop guests were: Nadere Lee, Democratic Office and Local Self-Government Leader and Desislava Bijeva, USAID Coordinator. The participators were congratulated by Nadere Lee who emphasized the local initiatives importance in the anti-corruption efforts on national and international level.
Contracts were also signed between Coalition 2000 and the NGO winners from the competition of the program “Small Projects” – Third Stage. Project duration: July – December 2000.
