On February 15, 2000, Mr. Alexander Stoyanov, Director of Vitosha Research, Center for the Study of Democracy, briefed a number of foreign diplomats and foreign media accredited correspondents on the issue. The presentation at the Center for the Study of Democracy gave the occasion for an ad hoc discussion about the ways to change the current situation and to improve international cooperation for corruption countering in the nation. Furthermore, the Coalition 2000 representatives informed participants about the project, "Corruption and Smuggling. Monitoring and Prevention of Thansborder Crime in Bulgaria."
