Coalition 2000 representatives, Zhivka Damyanova and Emil Tsenkov, were invited to take part in the seminar "National Anticorruption Program: International Experience for Ukraine", organized by Ukrainian NGO "Freedom of Choice", coordinator of the newly founded Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Coalition. The invitation was a follow-up of a study visit from the Ukrainian NGO representatives group in Bulgaria April this year. The seminar in Kiev was the start of the comprehensive nationwide campaign by NGOs in Ukraine aimed at curbing and lowering the level of corruption. Possibilities for joint anti-corruption efforts of Coalition 2000 and the "Freedom of Choice" Coalition of Ukraine were discussed, including partnership on the project "The Foundation of the Ombudsman Body in the districts of Kirovograd, Ivano-Frankivsk, Luhansk, Chernihiv and Crimean Autonomy Republic". |
