Diplomas Award Ceremony for the Participants in the Summer Internship Program on Project University for Civic Culture of City and Culture Foundation in Varna
On 6 October, 2004 in the municipality of Varna the City and Culture Foundation organized a Diplomas Award Ceremony for the participants in the summer internship program on project University for Civic Culture. The project is implemented in the framework of the Civil Society Against Corruption Program of Coalition 2000.
38 high school and university students from ten high schools and one university in Varna participated in the summer internships. The internships were with one-week duration and took place in the major public institutions in the city like: the regional police department, municipality of Varna, the district court, the regional court, etc. The purpose of the internships was to acquaint the young citizens of Varna with the functioning of the public institutions and to improve the interaction between the young people and the representatives of the local and national authorities.
