Presentation of a book of an investigative journalist
After presenting his novel Toppling the Government in Sofia and Varna, the investigative journalist from 24 Chassa daily Stanimir Vaglenov introduce the book to the audience of Bourgas on October 8 and Stara Zagora on October 9, 2003. This is the first fictional account of journalistic investigations, connected with illegal acts, favoring and abuse of power, which will enhance public intolerance towards acts of corruption. It is probing into an underdeveloped domain in Bulgarian book-publishing.
The book will aim to serve as an educational tool for young journalists with specific interest in investigative journalism (skills manual, information sources etc.). The book is published with the financial support of Coalition 2000 in the framework of the project Civil Society against Corruption .
