  On October 7, 2004 CSD held a farewell party for the outgoing Ambassador of Spain. Ambassador Jose Lopez-Jorrin left a recognizable mark on the relations between Bulgaria and Spain expanding cooperation in various fields – political, economic, cultural. He was particularly keen on public-private partnerships and encouraged the contacts between Bulgarian NGOs and policy institutes with their Spanish counterparts.
CSD staff, judges, government officials, media professionals and friends of Spain were present to witness Ambassador Jorrin receive a going away gift from CSD – a painting of Don Quixote as a builder of bridges.
