| Pressconference: The First Six Months of the Weekly Anticorruption Radio Talk Show UNDER CONTROL

 On 15 October, 2004 at the Center for Study of Democracy, the Media Development Center and Coalition 2000 organized a press conference to present the results from the first six months of its broadcasting of the anticorruption radio talk show Under Control.
Milena Dimitrova, an author and a host of the radio talk show Under Control, made a multimedia presentation of the show, its guests and its internet site. The talk show was broadcast 22 times druing the first six months of its existence and its host made an analysis of her observations about the freedom of speech and the effectiveness of journalistic investigations against corruption in Bulgaria.
 Participants at the presentation were also Mr. Ognian Zlatev, manager of Media Development Center ; Mr. Georgi Stoichev, executive director of New Europe radio station, former guests at the talk show.
The talk show Under Control is broadcast every Sunday between 5:30p.m. and 6:00p.m. since May, 2004. The show is a project of the Media Development Center and is funded by the Open Government Initiative Project and the US Agency for International Development. It is broadcast on radio New Europe on the following frequencies: Sofia - 89,1 mHz; Plovdiv - 103,7 mHz; Stara Zagora - 100,1 mHz; Haskovo - 102,2 mHz; Burgas - 105mHz; Varna - 95,9 mHz; Pleven - 87,9 mHz; Vidin - 97,8 mHz; Veliko Turnovo - 105,7 mHz.
