Coalition 2000 Cited in an Article of the Newropeans Magazine
On 22 and 25 July, 2005 the Newropeans-Magazine – a trans-European online daily magazine published a two-part article titled Disorder in Bulgaria’s Courts written by John Dyer. In the article the author makes an overview of the prolonged reform in the Bulgaria’s judiciary system during the past fifteen years as he presents the opinions of foreign diplomats in the country and of Bulgarian politicians, lawyers and NGO representatives on the issue. The author also pinpoints some of the immediate reforms needed in the judiciary in order to assure Bulgaria’s timely accession to the EU.
The first part of the article also refers to the results obtained through the regular surveys among the business and the population conducted by Coalition 2000 and sociological agency Vitosha Research, which compile the Hidden Economy Index.
