| International Conference: Balkan Parliament

 On 12-17 October 2005 the American University in Bulgaria organized an international conference Balkan Parliament. Representatives of the academia, the governmental and non-governmental sector discussed a number of topics, among which fighting corruption in Southeastern and Central Europe. During the conference Mr. Todor Yalamov, Project Coordinator in the Economic Program of the Center for the Study of Democracy, presented the most recent data and analyses on corruption in the private sector and the possible solutions in the areas of good corporate governance and corporate social responsibility.
