Public discussion on the Draft Regional Development Strategy of Sofia Region
Representatives of the Center for the Study of Democracy took part in the first public discussion on the Regional Development Strategy of Sofia Region for the period 2005-2015 on 20 December 2005. The main objectives for the region as defined by the Strategy are:
Preserving high economic growth;
Balanced and sustainable territorial development;
Positioning of Sofia-city as a regional center for South-East Europe in the framework of the European Union.
