On 25 October 2005 the Center for the Study of Democracy and ARC Fund organized the Second National Innovation Forum. On 12-17 October 2005 the American University in Bulgaria organized an international conference Balkan Parliament. Representatives of the academia, the governmental and non-governmental sector discussed a number of topics, among which fighting corruption in Southeastern and Central Europe. more »
 
Videoconference: Corruption and Organized Crime
On 30 September, 2005 the Center for Study of Democracy and the Sofia Distance Learning Center hosted the fifth and final videoconference under the Anti-corruption pilot program titled Corruption and Organized Crime. It was delivered to representatives of public and private sector organizations and NGOs at the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, in Kiev and representatives from public and private sector and donor community in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. more »

Videoconference: Investment Climate: Competitiveness and Poverty Reduction
On June 13, 2005 the Distance Learning Center at the Center for the Study of Democracy, jointly with the World Bank Country Office in Sofia, organized a videoconference discussion on one of the pillars of development - the creation of a better investment climate to create jobs and higher incomes.
