Policy Briefing and Presentation: Public Trust in Criminal Justice
On February 23, 2012, the Center for the Study of Democracy organized a presentation of a report on the Public Trust in Criminal Justice. The authors presented their analysis of the study results on the public trust in the police and courts, the public perceptions of the level of corruption in these institutions and the subjective perceptions of fear of crime in Bulgaria. more »

On 20 February 2012, the Center for the Study of Democracy held a round table entitled The Use of Wiretaps in the Investigation of Organised Crime and Corruption. The special guest was Mr. Peter Ainsworth, Senior Deputy Chief, Public Integrity Section, Criminal Division, U.S. Department of Justice.
