Discussion Forum: The Grey Economy: Impact on the Development of Bulgaria and Measures to Address the Problems

On 19 June 2007 the „Na svetlo“ („In the light“) initiative organized a discussion forum entitled The Grey Economy: Impact on the Development of Bulgaria and Measures to Address the Problems. Mr. Petkan Iliev, Senior Fellow at the Economic Program of the Center for the Study of Democracy took part in the event. He presented the latest data of the Hidden Economy index for 2007, depicting the spread and trends of the grey economy in Bulgaria. The index covers a period of seven years and is based on methodology and surveys of Vitosha Research, a marketing and sociological research agency.
