Applied Research and Communications Fund
The Applied Research and Communications Fund (ARC Fund) is a leading European think-tank in the areas of research, innovation and IT policy studies, business innovation and technology transfer. ARC Fund provides advice and advocacy on science and evidence-based national, regional and local level innovation policies and strategies and performs research and analyses of development trends and policy options for supporting entrepreneurship and innovation for smart specialisation and industrial transformation.
The Role
To provide comprehensive support to ARC Fund’s Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Programme. Your role will be to participate in the implementation of research projects and deliver support in data collection and processing, desk research, etc. You will develop research methodologies, manage the implementation of research projects and prepare reports. You will also draft project proposals and organise communication and outreach activities (i.e., managing contact databases, partnerships, and institutional cooperation).
Skills and qualifications required
Experience in development and coordination/implementation of research projects within the Horizon 2020 and/or Horizon Europe programmes of the EU multi-national consortia for research, technology development and innovation. Specifically, you will have:
- at least 5 years of full-time professional experience focused on research in economics, political science, sociology, technology studies and social policy;
- a track-record of successful project and tender applications and their successful implementation;
- master’s degree in Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Technology Studies or a related field (a PhD would be an advantage);
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bulgarian and English and an ability to write clear and concise reports in English;
- good communication and networking skills.
