» ICT Partnering event FutureMatch 2010, during Cebit, 2 – 6 March, Hannover, Germany, Enterprise Europe Network Bulgaria (ARC fund) is organising a technology brokerage event in ICT during the biggest European exhibition in the filed – CeBIT. 2 – 6 March 2010, Hannover, Germany.

» Brokerage event in the filed of ICT during INFOSYSTEM 2009 fair, 26-29 November , Thessaloniki, Enterprise Europe Network Bulgaria – ARC fund, and ELP-FORWARD Network in collaboration with HELEXPO is organising a Brokerage event in parallel with the 22nd INFOSYSTEM FAIR, which will take place in Thessaloniki from 26th to 29th of November 2009 .INFOSYSTEM is a well known fair in the Balkans and it has been organized every year for the past 22 years.

» Results from the TransBonus Open Call for Pre-proposals (Published on August 7, 2009 and closed on October 15, 2009) , In reference to the TransBonus call for project research ideas in the surface transport thematic area (in the form of pre-proposals, opened on August 7, 2009 and closed on October 15, 2009) proposed by research organisations, NGOs, universities, and public organisations, coming from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, FYR of Macedonia, Serbia and Bulgaria, the following results were achieved:

» Open call for pre-proposals, The TransBonus project, co-funded by the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) of the European Union, opens a call for project research ideas (in the form of pre-proposals), in the surface transport thematic area, proposed by research organisations, NGOs, universities, and public organisations, coming from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, FYR of Macedonia, Serbia and Bulgaria. SMEs can also submit pre-proposals under the conditions that they establish partnership with research organisations, NGOs, universities, and public organisations.

» First Pan-European Youth Panel to be held in Luxembourg, On the occasion of the Safer Internet Forum 2009 in Luxembourg, the first pan-European Youth Panel on online safety will be organised by INSAFE on 21 October 2009. Entitled “YEP (Youth e-safety Panel) 2009”, the initiative will bring together 54 young people aged 14 to 17 selected by the national Safer Internet Centres in all 27 Insafe member countries.

» 4th International Conference Advancing Innovation in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (AIECA) 2009: Bridging Education, Research and Business Incubation for Fostering Academic Entrepreneurship and Innovation, The Applied Research and Communications Fund is organizing the international on behalf of the Eastern European and Central Asian Business Incubators and Technology Parks Network

» Machine building, machinery, electrical engineering and electronics match During International Fair Plovdiv 2009 Event day - 29 September 2009 , ARC Fund as coordinator of Enterprise Europe Network – Bulgaria organized a technology and business matchmaking event in the sphere of machine building, machinery, electrical engineering and electronics during the Autumn International Fair in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The event was held on 29 September 2009, at the International Fair Plovdiv fairground – Palace 6, Hall 2.

» 4th International Conference Advancing Innovation in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (AIECA 2009)

, ARC Fund, organized on behalf of ECAbit the 4th International Conference Advancing Innovation in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (AIECA 2009) The Technical University – Gabrovo, Enterprise Europe Network – Bulgaria and the Municipality of Gabrovo were co-organizers of the event, which was held on 24-26 September in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. AIECA 2009 was supported by the World Bank’s infoDev program and iDisc global incubator initiative.

» Publication of the ERAWATCH Analytical Country Report for Bulgaria 2009 , On 25 September 2009 ERAWATCH, the EU information portal for European, national and regional research policies, published the national Policy Mix Country Reports for 2009 of all 27 EU Member State and for six states associated to the Framework Programme (Croatia, Iceland, Israel, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey).

» Experts round table discusses safer Internet education in schools, On 10 July ARC Fund organised a round table with experts from the Ministry of Education, Sofia Regional Education Inspectorate, Sofia Municipality, State Agency for Child Protection, school directors, teachers, pedagogues and school psychologists.
