» Tenth National Innovation Forum "Innovation Agenda for Sustainable Growth and Competitiveness”,
Applied Research and Communications Fund and Enterprise Europe Network – Bulgaria, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria KIC InnoEnergy , with the support of the Norway Grants are organizing the Tenth National Innovation Forum "Innovation Agenda for Sustainable Growth and Competitiveness”.
The Forum will be held on 16th of December 2014, starting from 11.00 at Sofia Hotel Balkan .
The Forum will feature the award ceremony of the Innovative Enterprise of the Year 2014 national contest. The prize winners will be awarded by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Rossen Plevneliev.

Applied Research and Communications Funs organizes a Round Table discussion on "Green Innovations: opportunity or necessity" that will be held on December 16, 2014 , at 14:30 in Hall 1 of the Fund.
Participants in the discussion are representatives of the BMW Foundation, IMP3rove European Innovation Management Academy, NIFU Nordic Institute for Studies in Innovation, Research and Education, KIC InnoEnergy, as well as Bulgarian innovative companies and organizations working in the field of green innovations and policies.

» Discussion: Data-Driven Innovation in South-East Europe,
On December 4th, 2014 the Institute of Economics in Serbia, together with other research institutes and think-tanks from South-East Europe, and with the support of Google, organized in Zagreb a discussion on data-driven innovations in the region. Practitioners, researchers and senior government officials from Serbia, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Romania and Slovenia took part in the event, exchanging information on good practices from their countries.

Enterprise Europe Network at ARC Fund and ARC Consulting together with the Patent Office of Republic of Bulgaria organizes a seminar „IPR and Competitiveness of the European SMEs”, aimed at raising the awareness of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises on IPR protection.
» Launch of the Tenth National Contest ‘Innovative Enterprise of the Year 2014’,
Applied Research and Communications Fund together with and Enterprise Europe Network - Bulgaria and KIC InnoEnergy launch the Tenth National Contest ‘Innovative Enterprise of the Year 2014’. The contest is supported by the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy and Energy and the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria.
The contest editions are open to all active companies, without sector limitations, that have successfully developed and implemented an innovation for the past three years.
» A Consultation on Europe Wide Views on Sustainable Consumption

The Applied Research and Communications Fund organised a pilot for Bulgaria consultation with citizens on sustainable consumption, which was held on the 25 th of October 2014 at the premises of Universiada Hall in Sofia. The method is known as Europe Wide Views.
» Training for Varna students on the link between Internet and human trafficking,
The team of the Safer Internet Centre from the Applied Research and Communications Fund conducted two training sessions in Varna on October 20-21 as part of the campaign “Better Be Informed than Exploited” on the occasion of the European Anti-Trafficking Day.
» Final conference of the Complex Challenges – Innovative Cities (CCIC) project,
The final conference of the Complex Challenges – Innovative Cities (CCIC) project took place in Genoa, Italy, on the 16th of October 2014. Among the topics that were discussed by the numerous representatives of municipalities and regions from all over Europe were the development of smart cities, the development of online platforms for citizen engagement, the quality of and access to public services, as well as areas for improvement in terms of public service provision in the different municipalities and regions.
» Young people learn how to teach their peers strategies for dealing with violence,
The team of the Safer Internet Centre from the Association Parents held a one-day training “Emotional Intelligence in Real and Virtual World as a Way for Dealing with Violence” with the young people aged 16-19 from the Youth Parliament Gorna Oryahovica.
