| Public Presentation of Coalition 2000’ Media Monitoring Report Corruption in the Bulgarian Healthcare System

On 14 June, 2005 Georgi Apostolov, a coordinator of the media expert group at Coalition 2000 delivered a presentation on the following topic: Corruption in the Bulgarian Healthcare System. The presentation was delivered at the international conference Medical Ethics and the Use of Pharmaceuticals. The Right and Freedom of Choice held at Hilton Hotel in Sofia and co-organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria and Eli Lilly &Co pharmaceutical company.
The conference attracted representatives from: the Ministry of Health, the health care parliamentary committee, international and local pharmaceutical companies and associations, Bulgarian Medical Union, scientific and research associations, Medical University in Sofia, National Health Insurance Fund of Bulgaria, medical practitioners, NGOs and media.
