Training Seminar on Corporate Governance for Representatives of the Mass Media
Within this project, the third in a series of initiatives sponsored by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), a two-day training seminar took place on 20-21 November, 2001. It brought together journalists and administrators from the printed and electronic media, both national and regional to meet with experts on corporate governance, representatives of the legislature, the State Securities and Exchanges Commission, the private sector and NGOs. more »
 
Regional Forum: Business Views on Corporate Governance: Building New Structures in Emerging Markets
On 22-23 September 2000 The Center for International Private Enterprise and the Center for the Study of Democracy, with support from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and the East-East Program of the Open Society Institute (OSI), held a regional conference entitled "Business Views on Corporate Governance: Building New Structures in Emerging Markets". The fourth in a series of regional conferences focusing on reform issues, this conference was aimed to craft a unique dynamic-in which the business community, market participants and think tanks forge their own approach to corporate governance. more »

Expert Discussion: Current Issues of Corporate Governance in Bulgaria
On January 13, 1999 an expert discussion on "Current Issues of Corporate Governance in Bulgaria" was held at the Center for the Study of Democracy. The representatives of Securities and Stock Exchange Commission, Center for Mass Privatization, Bulgarian Association of Licensed Investment Intermediaries, Securities Holders Association, non-governmental organizations, financial institutions, Bulgarian and foreign companies attended the discussion. more »
