History

Since its establishment in the early spring of 1991 the Law Program if the Center for the Study of Democracy has substantially contributed to the development of legislative and judicial reform in Bulgaria with its efforts focused on several main areas of activities including drafting new legislation, development of concept papers and provision of comments and recommendations to proposed laws and regulations. The sections below present a review of the main activities of the Law Program since 1991. For each year you can read brief thematic highlights followed by a more detailed description of activities, projects, events and publications.
