» Fifteenth National Innovation Forum "Innovation and Economic Growth", Applied Research and Communications Fund, ARC Consulting, Enterprise Europe Network – Bulgaria, ЕC Representation in Bulgaria, with the support of the Directorate General GROW and Executive Agency for SMEs and Joint Innovation Centre of the BAS in media partnership with Economy magazine and Economic.bg, Computer world, Kaldata.bg, Nauka.bg magazine and Uspelite.bg held the Fifteenth National Innovation Forum "Innovations and Economic Growth on December 05, 2019.

» Open Call for Experts – Registry of Research Infrastructures Reviewers, The ResInfra@DR project launched an Open Call for experienced evaluators who want to be included in a registry of research infrastructure (RI) reviewers. Reviewers in the registry must have the knowledge, experience and ability to conduct ex-ante assessments of upcoming RI instruments and/or planned RIs in the Danube macro-region countries.

Mutual Learning Exercise within the
ResInfra@DR, ResInfra@DR project partners would like to announce an open call for the involvement of research infrastructures and thematic experts in the mutual learning exercise. Designed to strengthen Research Infrastructures in the Danube macro region, the project develops a mutual learning activity resulting in practical recommendations. Eligibility criteria, financial framework, evaluation criteria, and special call conditions are described in the Terms of References here.

» Conference on digital and media literacy took place in Sofia, A conference on early childhood development of digital and media literacy took place on 30th of May in Sofia. The conference was organized by the Applied Research and Communications Fund (ARC Fund), coordinator of Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre. The meeting was attended by representatives of a variety of institutions and organisations: non-governmental organisations, UNICEF, lecturers and students from Faculty of Primary and Pre-school Pedagogy of Sofia University, school and kindergarten teachers and principals, representatives of the Electronic communications networks and information systems state executive agency, State Agency for Child Protection, Ministry of Culture.

» Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre is building a cyberscouts network, The Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre at the Applied Research and Communications Fund has started its new educational campaign “Cyberscout.”

» SIC and Telenor in a joint educational campaign, On the occasion of the International Safer Internet Day Telenor launches educational campaign dedicated to the safety of children online. The campaign is held together with the Ministry of Interior and Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre.

» Discussion: Data-Driven Innovation in South-East Europe, On December 4th, 2014 the Institute of Economics in Serbia, together with other research institutes and think-tanks from South-East Europe, and with the support of Google, organized in Zagreb a discussion on data-driven innovations in the region. Practitioners, researchers and senior government officials from Serbia, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Romania and Slovenia took part in the event, exchanging information on good practices from their countries.

» Training for Varna students on the link between Internet and human trafficking, The team of the Safer Internet Centre from the Applied Research and Communications Fund conducted two training sessions in Varna on October 20-21 as part of the campaign “Better Be Informed than Exploited” on the occasion of the European Anti-Trafficking Day.

» Young people learn how to teach their peers strategies for dealing with violence, The team of the Safer Internet Centre from the Association Parents held a one-day training “Emotional Intelligence in Real and Virtual World as a Way for Dealing with Violence” with the young people aged 16-19 from the Youth Parliament Gorna Oryahovica.

» A different Safer Internet Day designed by the young people, It does not seem like a typical Safer Internet Day celebration.
