On 18 October 2012 the Center for the Study of Democracy organized a round table on the topic “Strategy for Registration Reform: 10 Years Later”. Public Hearing: Improving Criminal Justice Systems in Europe: The Role of E-Tools and Performance Indicators
On 26 March 2012, the Center for the Study of Democracy, in partnership with Ms. Mariya Nedelcheva, Member of the European Parliament, the International Association Droit au Droit (Belgium) and the Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland), organised a Public Hearing on "Improving Criminal Justice Systems in Europe: The Role of E-Tools and performance indicators", which was held at the European Parliament in Brussels. more »
 
RED Portal Launch in Bulgaria
On 22 March 2012 the Center for the Study of Democracy announced the public launch of the Rights Equality & Diversity (RED) Portal. Representatives of state institutions, involved in countering racism and discrimination in Bulgaria, as well as researchers and experts from non-governmental organisations took part in the event. more »
 
Policy Briefing and Presentation: Public Trust in Criminal Justice
On February 23, 2012, the Center for the Study of Democracy organized a presentation of a report on the Public Trust in Criminal Justice. The authors presented their analysis of the study results on the public trust in the police and courts, the public perceptions of the level of corruption in these institutions and the subjective perceptions of fear of crime in Bulgaria. more »
