» TranSMEs Training session and results from the Open call in Transport and Environment sectors., On February 26th 2007 ARC Fund organized a Training event under the TranSMEs project to present "How to write successful proposals in the 7th Framework Program (FP7)" and to guide SMEs winners in the project Open call.

» Innovation.bg 2007 Report, ARC Fund’s latest report Innovation.bg 2007 analyzes the state of the national innovation system and makes recommendations for enhancing the innovation performance of the Bulgarian economy. This year’s report makes a review of the European innovation policy and the opportunities it offers to Bulgaria.

» Third National Innovation Forum , The 3rd National Innovation Forum took place in Sofia (Sheraton Hotel Balkan) on December 19th, 2006. The 3rd NIF sought to review and analyze the latest developments in Bulgaria’s innovation environment with a view to the upcoming EU accession. The Forum aimed to present the major opportunities and challenges to the innovation performance of Bulgaria’s economy as part of the EU market and propose a dynamic platform for exchange of opinions and good practices at EU, national, regional, sectoral and company levels which will enhance Bulgaria’s innovativeness and competitiveness.

» Information Day on the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) of the European Community for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration Activities (2007-2013) , On December 18th, 2006 ARC Fund organized an Information Day on the upcoming FP7 of EC with special emphasis on the “Capacities” Specific Programme and the synergy with other EU programme instruments for building knowledge society.

» MediaTrans: New technologies for the Media Sector, ARC Fund has published a leaflet for medium and small enterprises in the media sector. The leaflet informs the SMEs about the multinational project MediaTrans and the possibilities the project opens for enhancing media companies' competitiveness.

» Training on ICT Priority of New EU Framework Program (FP7), On December 6, 2006 in Sofia ARC Fund organized an information and training event to present the ICT Priority of the new Seventh Framework Program of the European Commission for research and technological development.

» The 2007 European ICT Prize, In 2006 “the European Information Society Technologies Prize” changed its name to “the European Information and Communication Technologies Prize”, or “the European ICT Prize”. It is the most distinguished award for innovative products and services that represent the best of European innovation in ICT.

» New Members of the Public Council for Safer Internet, At a meeting on November 28, 2006 the Public Council for Safer Internet voted two organizations for new members of the body that supervizes the operation of the Bulgarian Hotline for reporting Illegal and Harmful Content in Internet.

» Technology Brokerage Event in the field of Biotechnology during the “Interfood and Drink”, “Meatmania”, “The World of Milk” and “Salon de Vin” exhibitions in Sofia, 16-17 November 2006, A Technology Brokerage Event in the field of Food and Drinks Biotechnologies is being organised by ARC Fund and its Innovation Relay Centre-Bulgaria project. The event will take place on 16-17 November 2006 during one of the largest forums of the food and beverage industries in Bulgaria – Interfood and Drink, Meatmania, The World of Milk and Salon de Vin exhibitions in Sofia.

» Fashion To Future –more intelligent information for SMEs. , Fashion To Future is a project running since May 2006 through to April 2008 co-financed by the EU 6th Framework Programme to foster the competitiveness of SMEs in the enlarged Euro-Mediterranean fashion system. 38 partners from 21 countries are involved in the implementation of the project and Applied Research and Communications Fund runs it in Bulgaria.
