International conference: Justice, Financial System, Business
On 26 and 27 November, 2004 the Center for the Study of Democracy co-organized the first of a series of three international conferences on Reforms of the Regulating Institutions in the Context of Transition to Democracy, European Integration and Globalisation. The event was dedicated to the reforms in the judicial system and the banking sector in countries such as Italy, Belgium, France, Brazil, Bulgaria and Hungary, Indonesia and Singapore. A public forum titled Mediation at Schools took place on 23 November, 2004 in Plovdiv.
The forum was organized by the Bulgarian Association for Out-of-court Conflict Resolution under the project Support and assistance in out-of-court resolution of conflict in the sphere of secondary education through the establishment of school mediators.
