New Web Site for Anticorruption Education at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski
In September 2004 Social Dialogue Foundation, Sofia launched a new web site on its project Anticorruption Education and Civic Action Against Corruption in the Sofia University. The project is implemented in the framework of the Civil Society Against Corruption Program of Coalition 2000. more »

Elections for a New Ombudsman of Sofia
On September 23, 2004 the municipal council of Sofia elected with a secret ballot the new public mediator (ombudsman) of Sofia. Mr. Angel Stefanov is a professor in the Political Science Department at the University of National and World Economy, Sofia.

Bulgarian Velikden Movement Foundation Launches an Initiative Against Corruption
On 22 August, 2004 the members of Bulgarian Velikden Movement Foundation, which is an independent, non-government and non-for-profit organization uniting Bulgarians from all over the world, announced their priorities for this and next year. “Counteracting corruption, the accession of the country to EU, building of effective state administration and judiciary are the priority areas for us,” said Krassimir Gadzhokov from the managing board of the movement. more »
