Information day for promoting the ombudsman institution on local level in the city of Razgrad
On September 12, 2002 the Center for the Study of Democracy and the Bulgarian Association for Fair Elections and Civil Rights - Razgrad Club - organized an information day in Razgrad dedicated to the establishment of local ombudsman type institutions. Representatives of the central and local administration, the local selfgovernment, NGOs, citizens, journalists, and local ombudsmen from the city and region of Razgrad took part in the event. more »

Study visit to Norway: Examining the Norwegian Experience in Developing Central Electronic Registers
On August 4-8, 2002, a Bulgarian delegation visited Norway with the purpose to study the Norwegian experience with the development of modern registration systems.
